you would think that if discord's MAIN EMAIL ACCOUNT was compromised it would be slightly bigger news than word of mouth going about
it's likely someone got a phishing email from a spoofed domain, since that's apparently doable
like this feels it would be a huge PR disaster if they didn't immediately let everyone know "HEY, DON'T LIKE CLICK ANYTHING IN OUR EMAILS OR YOU LOSE YOUR ACCOUNT"

don't click any links in emails if you can help it anyways

@[email protected] Back in the day anyone could spoof an email using nothing but good ol' telnet, and I'm not sure if stuff has actually improved that much since then, why haven't we moved to a standard that's less shit than email
