turns out a place local to me has a stepmaniax machine so that's kinda neat

yknow Minecraft has a wired mod ecosystem
ignoring the part where there's two competing mod loaders and some mods that absolutely hate one or the other for reasons
it's just crazy to me how much of it is propped up by server host sponsoring
like i get people need to make money but it's just... odd
