yes i want to use Linux but it's not stable to the point where i can't use it without dying
like I'm sorry I'm trying to use my computer if the computer I'm trying to use is just kicking be out for zero reason and it's because i didn't do x because i didn't know you had to do y for z to work then what the fuck
like ohhhhh it's so easy to use the os except when it just dies and you don't know why and you can't get back in to your stuff
now I'm gonna have to repartition my second drive again to be Windows comparable again
nevermind fuck Linux it just keeps giving up now
like i get in and a minute later it's kicked me out and i guess my season crashed
little concerned
i've got linux fedora working right? but sometimes when i boot it up it decides to go into it's uh
what's it called... it's not recovery mode it's like panic mode or something
and then i restart the computer and it's suddenly fine
sometimes i ask myself why i did this instead of just having it all be windows 11 but then i remember "oh yeah windows 11 has a bunch of crap"
think that's a fairly fair assessment of installing two OSs by someone who is kinda just getting started with all of this by themselves instead of having someone else help them
review of setting up OSs:
windows:
- fuckin pain in the ass to install from USB, just random errors that don't makes sense
- setup process tries to get you to sign up to subscriptions
- once your done with all that not much else to do to, so that's quite nice
fedora:
- installer is nice and easy
- once it's all installed you gotta install a bunch of stuff after to get stuff
- gotta learn the console, like it's not a necessity but it sure does help
oh also i see why having a Linux live install handy is acutally very useful for managing partitions
oh boy i can't wait to install everything on fedora again for a third time !!!
hello from sighs windows 11
