froox programming: oh yeah so i spotted a minor bug about this thing so i just rewrote the entire system from scratch to fix it

when stuff is real algorithms written by people you can look at the algorithm and go oh that's neat
you get full explanations on tiny parts of systems
when that instead is replaced by "machine learning" it just becomes "well it just kinda happens, we dunno how it works, just kinda does" and you can no longer learn from how a bunch of nodes just kinda figure out the result

think I'm scared of having bad takes on the internet and having people dislike me for it

is it okay to say that the main takeaway of palworld isn't that it's okay for indie games to just steal ideas, but that people want Pokémon and Pokémon like games to evolve and explore past the rpg creature capturing part
